Oil Pressure Sending Unit
I'm putting an electrical oil pressure gauge in my 72 Blazer. The gauge is from a 1980 Chevy truck. The sending unit for that year has two blades - I suppose one is for the idiot light. Does anyone know of a single-blade sender that works with a 60 lb oil pressure gauge?
Thanks!

Re: Oil Pressure Sending Unit
Standard Motor Products PS154 or PS154-T ???
I remember our 65 Merc having a sending unit looking like one of those and connected to a gauge. |

Re: Oil Pressure Sending Unit
Thanks. I found a SP155 and it looks like it will work.
On a side note, I really like that part number - it makes me think of self-propelled 155mm howitzers.

See https://www.1aauto.com/chevrolet-gmc...hoCSxMQAvD_BwE .
I would like a sending unit with idiot light and gauge connections that would work on 73 up gauge. |

I haven't heard of a switch that can both measure pressure and activate a light. Maybe they are available, who knows? Otherwise one could tee the sensor and a switch into the same port. |
