Step hangers?

I am having an issue with step hangers on my 69 short bed. Does anyone have pictures of both sides showing hanger attached to both step and cross sill?

Re: Step hangers?

You can see by the pics where the large bracket bolts up inside the front bed crossmember on each side.

Re: Step hangers?

Thanks Boog, the pictures are a great help. The PO did some strange things on this truck and this is one more hack to add to a long list that I have already corrected. Now I know how they are supposed to go. Thanks again!
