Summer Driver

I picked up a 75 2 wheel drive Blazer a couple of months ago to drive around in the summer. Last owner was on the boards. Picked up some original seats and bases and had new covers put on. Got rid of the god awful velour buckets and custom console. Put in a cup holder console. Truck has 20,000 original miles on the body and mostly original paint. However, lots of changes in the drive train - 454, TH400, Denny's Drive Shaft, Eaton 4:10 posi, Cal Tracs, Be Cool radiator, etc. etc. Super solid truck with absolutely no rot or winters. Here are a few pics

Re: Summer Driver

Thanks much. I didn't want to post any pics of it until I got rid of the velour seats and console. They made a great truck look hideous. It's loud with a 3" exhaust and runs along well. Tall tires on the back make the 4:10's liveable for the around town trips I take with it but it is not a 75 mph highway cruiser. Couple of more pics:

Re: Summer Driver

Those are amazing looking seats! Wish I could find some low backs.

Re: Summer Driver

Thanks. I was able to get the seats and bases from fellow boardmember Richard2717. Obviuosly had to put new covers and new seat backs (painted the backs and the console with vinyl paint). It seems the lowbacks, and especially the 73 and up seat brackets, are fairly scarce.
