update
Well 4th of July weekend started out uneventful for me since my suburban broke down in kajsas. Thanks to kingsolver72 my truck was safe for a couple weeks until I could figure out what I was going to do. I had it transported back home put a new transfer case in it and was good to go until today. Backing out of my driveway the rear end grenades and the truck sits still. My ring gear is broken into several pieces and I can't see the condition of the pinion yet.

Man, I know that stinks. I just put some time and too much money into my wife's bike.
Part of my woes were caused by me.  All I can say is hang in there.

not un common for one to affect the other.
when i had a tranny go under power [ hot around a corner ], I found the rear end was spittin teeth once the tranny was fixed. |
