Partial blame at best. Hey, back then like I said, they were the rage. Today, not so much.

Most trends come and go.

I know one thing that will never go out of style and that is a slammed c10 2wd of any year. You can always remove parts like trim and mirrors and shave parts or leave it stock, but when you start adding exterior bolt on parts you are dealing with something that sooner or later will be going out of style (with the exception of sun visors and spot lights on old trucks). I have owned more than 10 pickups in the last 10 years and have removed 3 fiberglass shells, 1 old aluminum shell, 4 sets of mud flaps, 1 plastic bedliner, and 3 sets of huge aluminum running boards. I love buying old trucks with bolt on exterior parts because when I get home it gives me something to do and instant pleasure in seeing the vehicle transform into something I like more.

I know it is only my opinion but I have never seen one truck that looked better because it had a fiberglass sun visor, or 25 lights mounted all over it. If you want a bolt on part for function that is one thing but if you want it for style save your money and buy a set of speaker brackets from bigblock73. They will never go out of style.

I dig the stance! The headliner is pretty awesome, you NEVER see anything like that in a car, very cool. The bumper is no big deal, buy it and change it.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

I like the stance ...... the interior add ons & the rear tailgate trim ...... as for the bumper - its TEXAS & isn't everything bigger in Tx??

If you contemplating the purchase ..... I'd go for it - looks good.
