Shade of blue?

I am trying to see if there is a factory shade of blue close to these pics. The short bed I am told is a custom mix. Not sure about the blazer. They look similar and I do not have any SPID info on them. I believe the blazer is an 86. My 87 short bed is color code90 and am wanting to do a two tone with a shade of blue like in these pics. Any ideas? The only blue I know of is the Midnight/Sapphire blue code 29 but I think it is quite a bit darker than this particular shade. I have looked at other GM colors from this era and only found one other color that I am thinking of but it is from an 87 Olds 442 which is called a teal blue.

Re: Shade of blue?

Perhaps this is not helpful, but that Silverado sure looks exactly like the shade of blue that my 1979 Malibu came out of the factory with. In fact it really takes me back 30 years to see it, same metallic fleck and everything.

Code 29, as you say.

Re: Shade of blue?

I dont know if it is just the lighting but feel like the blazer has a hue of something else in it.
