68 Parklight Question
how do you remove the front parking light assembly from the grill? I know there are 2 nuts to remove from the bottom of the box, but I can't get that little bugger out of the grill area. thanks, Larry

Take off the lenses and disconnect the pigtails first.

I got it out! Seems like I left 1 nut on. Took the nut off and it lifted right out. Thanks for the help. LMAO, Larry

It's always something. I once got a great junkyard deal on a pair on '67 Chevy lamps. They bolted in fine, but the connectors were weird. The '67 MY pigtail had bare terminals like [I / ] while the '68 MY terminals were [ __ l ] and could not be plugged in w/o some splicing voodoo.
I used another '68 pair I found. Looked exactly the same from the front. Hey. Here's ''an old Indian trick:'' While it's all apart, shoot out the lamp bucket with brake cleaner, let it dry, and spraypaint the inside with silver Krylon [aluminum works good too.] Greatly increases reflected light inside the lampbox and shows a lot brighter at night.
