california does still have a lot. but it's getting very hard to find anything original (not beat up, cut down, or hodge podged together). when you do come across a straight original one they are very pricy. i bet texas is similar.

I do this search everyday on the Phoenix Craigslist. A lot of nice trucks including at least one unique truck owned by a member.
