looking for: replacement for my 70's radio
Hi Guys, I own a 70 Chevy CST-10 orange/white fleetside longbox. It was treated to a frame off resto. a year ago...but the guy stopped short and left the original non-working radio in there. I've just started looking around to put something decent in there....I'm not into the latest stuff out there...I know....the cassette players and now even the CD's are a thing of the past, but honestly, I wouldn't mind putting a stereo in there with one of these as long as it sounds nice. I don't care about this MP3/IPOD/satellite radio stuff. Any suggestions? ***edited by moderator****.....does any body have any suggestions as to where to go to find something reasonable to fit in there? Also...it looks like I'll need something with a face plate because someone at some time did some filing on the rectangular hole (for an aftermarket radio) and made it a little bit larger so a "perfect fit" replacement stereo will not work well for me....Thanks..Bob
