Truck looks great man. What size cam did you use in the Inline 6? Are those the stock size pistons or did you have larger pistons put in it. Where did you get the intake and headers from, and am I seeing things or did I see what looked like woodgrain on the steering wheel in one of those pics? Again, nice truck.

Cam is Duration 194* I/204* E
Lift .464" I/.494" E
Lobe centerline 110*
Engine is bored .040
Intake and headers are Offenhauser and Clifford both from Ebay. No woodgrain just the stock wheel with a crazy paint scheme on it.

Yes, you can get the 194 size leds in any color. My gauges are white though which help to reflect the light. You could do white gauges with red leds to make them red at night or red gauges with red leds. The gauges overlays come in any color for about $30 and you can get 10 bulbs fof $10 off ebay.

WOW! Hadn't looked at your thread since last fall, when my own project went into storage for the winter. To come back to the thread and find all this in just a few short months ... well, WOW! I guess that's the difference being 21 and no kids (I assume) and being a 35-year-old single dad with three kids. LOL!

Looks like you got the beggining of the granny gear burnout attempt. Let this be a lesson to everyone building a new motor. Don't put off replacing the balancer! They break! I was doing a donut and the thing luckily flew out the bottom of the truck and went FLYING down the street. It probably would have gone a quarter mile but it stopped at someone's house and he brought it down to us.

I got my bed strips painted and ready to install. I found some cherry wood that I'm going to try and use, something different than the cookie cutter oak and pine floors.
Then I decided my garage floor needed some artwork.
Hopefully I can have the wood finished before the All Truck Nationals.
I'll keep you posted.
