How much room did you lose between the tubs. Factory (i think) is 48 1/2''. Steel floor in that would look good also.

edit: BTW---somebody was doing a steel floor in a longhorn--who was it? I lost the thread

I added 4" to each tub..unfortunatley there is now less than 4' between them.
It looks good though!!!

There was about 9" of rake when I started it. 1+" of it is due to old springs. I am going for no more than 4" of rake when im done. I do NOT want to lower the rear. It will just have a "stock 4x4" look to it.

The new front coil springs looks like are giving me about 2.5 inches of lift from the old worn out springs. I am going with a taller tire on the front and that should give me another 1.5 inches. I am going with a smaller than current tire on the rear and that will drop it atleast 1.5".

I have also decided not to run dually rims on the front. They sit "in" too far for me. I mounted up some tires on some stock 16" wheels and put them on and they look great and dont rub at all. They widen the stance of the truck and really looks good.

My dually fronts sit too far in also!!!!!!!So i bought some 11/2 spacers,now it looks right!!!!!!

Yep....I thought about that for about a second but on a daily driver I am going to use to haul.....wheel spacers on a "1 ton" with hub piloted rims just doesnt seenm safe to me?!?!?!

Thanks for showing. This is VERY nice. Did you weld two wheel tubs to get the wide feature?

Maybe I missed something. Would you mind telling the reason for the dual wheels with the pickup bed - was it a dually C30 that you wanted to run with a Longhorn bed, or was it originally a single rear wheel pickup for which you wanted dual wheels for more carrying capacity.

It was a dually I put a bed on.......welded 4" additional fender well to it.

I sold it this Christmas.
