Shoulder Belt Mount

In a 68 with the factory drilled shoulder mount location, what is needed to be done to mount a shoulder belt ? Will 73-87 3pt belts work ? found a set and truck was never in accident to damage belts....thanks for input guys

You need a 7/16" 20 (fine thread) bolt for the pillar mount. A lot of guys use S-10 belts, so I think 73-87 belts would work too. Others will chime in.

Thanks for the tip ! does the panel have support behind it from the factory to accept the 3pt attatchment or do you have to beef it up with a steel plate?

There is support behind it from the factory, as shoulder belts were an option in these trucks.
