power brake pedal height

I finally got my power brake assembled. Haven't bled it or adjusted the brakes yet, but everything is attached and together. My question is how high off the floor board should the brake pedal ride? Mine right now is about 3 inches off the floor. All of this may change when I get brake fluid in system and bleed and adjust brakes, but I was wondering if I have the brake pedal rod adjusted right. Thanks for always keeping me on the right path!

Re: power brake pedal height

Just measured mine in my Suburban for another member. 6 15/16 inches. Measured like picture shows. Floorboard to back of pedal.
