Gas Pedal cable Question

Dumb question. 1970 C10, I am converting my gas pedal from the rod to a factory cable style found on 71 n up. Question is how much pedal travel do y’all have? How far does it from the floor when not pressed?

Thanks

Thumbs up Re: Gas Pedal cable Question

Here are some pictures of the ones I have. The first one is the Lokar pedal upgrade in my 71. The other is the 68 step I installed the 71 factory pedal in.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

This an older post but from the picture in the 68 it looks like there is a lot more travel with the newer cable set up. Is this a correct assertion?
Asking because my 68 pedal non cable original style moves the carb lever fully but has almost no travel. Just doesn’t have the right feel. I prefer more travel. ANYONE?
