Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Low mile 68 K model. $13000. She's beautiful and I wish she was mine. Or maybe I've been hypnotized by all the camera angles.

https://yakima.craigslist.org/cto/d/...132161239.html

34,000 original miles grandpa only took it to car shows and sometimes on Sunday would drive it,

This 1968 Chevy C 10 pick up long box is 100% original with zero rust Original matching number 350 engine this truck has always been garage kept and well taken care of starts up every time runs and drives excellent four-wheel-drive works great manual transmission this truck is a must see To appreciate
Belong to my grandfather For almost 40 years And he’s tired of paying storage fees because about five years ago he sold his home and moved into apartment and now he keeps the truck storage garage because he never liked leaving it in the weather was super well maintained and babied the whole time he owned it

Please call me anytime to schedule a meeting if you wanna take a look at it

I cant drill down on to originality on these trucks like a lot of you can. But even I can see the awful lot of stuff you are talking about.

Rare opportunity to pick up the rare one year only optional Corvette seats for your 67 C10 small window truck. $800. Not mine. But if they were correct for a Suburban I'd be all over them.

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...126161257.html

1967 Corvette coupe seats all there and in working order and in need of restoration. $800 /OBO

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Regarding #8126 wish someone would call and get the facts from seller, then give us the back story! Does appear to be a nice truck. I’m sure that seat must of been shredded after being in a garage for forty years and having close to a 1,000,000 miles! Oops I mean 34,000

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

At 1st glance it is a nice looking truck. The young man could be less than perfect on his engine facts. I'll give him a by on that. What I don't see is chalk marks on the firewall like I would expect . This too, shouldn't there be a 4 wheel drive emblem on both sides?

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Another 70 GMC this time it's a Serria Grande Camper Special $1500. Looks to be a smooookkking good deal. Not mine as I would be asking more money!

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/c...130960711.html

The truck has a rebuilt 350. I believe it is the original engine.2 speed auto tranny.8 lug wheels. It is registered as a 1/2 ton. It has rust in the typical areas ...rocker panels...bottom of doors...floor boards...front window channels..These issues are all fixable. I am selling it as is. It will turn over..but has not been started in 5yrs. These truck are very popular for restoration. So either restore it or part it out

I think it 'begs to be polished up and kept just like that'

Well...... they buffed out the original paint and then took some creative angle pictures to hide all the dents AND they reupholstered The non-original buddy buckets. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but they are no Buddy buckets original in a 70.......

My GMC was originally white paint with red seat, column, gauge panel, dash and door panels. I just had some paint matched and put in a spray can to redo some of the interior parts. I have always thought it was pretty cool.

Would be fun subject for a dedicated thread. Maybe one exists but I don’t recall.
