customising1/64 trucks

so while Wal-mart today I picked up one of the Chevorlet (100 years of Chevy) 1959 LFC truck by M2 and no more than got home and went to www.truckinlittle.com to look at parts to make a tandem with a Holmes wrecker and order a set of side mirrors, but can't decide if I want to leave the truck a day cab or add a scale 32" or 40" sleeper, stainless stacks, or even get a second truck to stretch way out and make a tricked out otr truck, I was gonna leave the 100 year paint job on the truck and paint the rest of the Holmes body and any other major accessorys lacquer black to match the original paint on the truck, any suggestions or ideas are welcome

no problem you'll have to let me know what all you have up your sleeve on that one, and if I come across a few more of those trucks or any other chevy Big trucks I may have to do a few modified rigs.

Re: customising1/64 trucks

picked up another M2 100years of Chevy rig today, a nice pearl white 59 viking LFC with a car hauler and a 58 impala which I have no love for but here's the pics of the 2 rigs, I haven't ordered my parts to modify either truck yet I'm a little up in the air about what exactly I want as of yet.

I wanted another black truck but really liked the car hauler trailer

well I started modification on one of these trucks tonight by re-painting the interior, detailed everything, and added a long shifter

well I was busy over the last couple hours and this is what I did,

there is still a generator to be built and places on-top of the shorter side of the front box and some DOT striping that I want to put down the side but can't find rite now.
I think I'll still do up a hauler body too cause I'm not sure if I like the service body, what y'all think of it so far???

I'm thinking I could make the hood on the 72 open easy enugh and a cummins out of a Ertl ram might look good in the engine bay? LOL

Re: customising1/64 trucks

looking through my photobucket I realized that I didn't get these posted up on here,
the '72 turned into a pulling truck

and the Farmall 706 diesel I did up as a Hot-Stock pulling tractor
