Feedback on Atheys?

Has anyone ever bought from "Athey's Classic Trucks" before. I see where they are offering a 10% online discount in December. Just need to know if this is a good place to buy from.

Is shipping quick and little chance of back ordered parts?

Steve

Re: Feedback on Vender ?

Grreat guy. I've bought parts from him at Carlisle swap meet many times with no problem. All feedback I've heard is that he is as good as the best so I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him. In fact, any of the sponsoring dealers are super to do business with. If you are concerned about part availability and shipping, give him a call to varify. Huck

Re: Feedback on Vender ?

Steve, I can tell you I have met Bill Athey personally and he is a great guy to deal with. I have bought a bunch of new and used parts off him. He has alot of trucks and his shipping usually only takes 1 day to Maryland. You can't go wrong .

I just got my first 2 orders in the last couple weeks there. Everything looks great. Fast shipping and cheap shipping prices. Even emails you all the info on your orders. I will be buying more from Bill soon.

Re: Feedback on Vender ?

I've gotten both a suburban and a blazer from Bill.

Both were very well represented with all the pics a guy would want!

Good guy, one of the hobbies best.

If you ever get the chance, take a look at the trucks he's restored! WOW!!

Bill is a great person to deal with. I've gotten quite a few small parts and a few bigger parts and can say first hand you won't be disappointed...

Re: Feedback on Atheys?

Bill is a good friend of mine and does a great business with these trucks. His shop is only 45 minutes from me and makes it very conveiniant when I need something quick. He knows every bolt on these trucks.
