I have looked on this site and also went to the Custom Classic Trucks website. LIsted is what was not clear to me:
Have one of you put a 700r4 into one of these trucks? Did you have to move the shifter to the floor? Are the mount issues? Are the diveshaft issues?
My current tranny is a 350 with the long tailshaft. Would like to do this to get he overdrive=gas mileage.

shifter linkage works fine, trans cross member will have to be moved a little bit and you will have to have your driveshaft altered.

if your th350 is a 9 inch tail its almost a direct swap just have to move the crossmember a bit and the d shaft will work. the shift linkage will work but with the stock linkage you wont be able to manually put the transmission in 1st gear. just measure the tailshaft bc there are 3 different lengths for th350 6,9 and 12
