700r4 w/4.56 gears

Would going to a 700r4 do anything to improve my highway driving experience give that I have an Eaton rear with 4.56 gears, or will the gearing limit/eliminate the advantages others get from going to the overdrive transmission?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Re: 700r4 w/4.56 gears

It would depend on the diameter of tires. 35's might be a good choice.

Re: 700r4 w/4.56 gears

I have a 700r4 with 456 gears and 33's and love it. I'm around 2200 rpm at 65 mph. It's kind of fun cruising at 70-75 passing cars and the engine not screaming.
