Suspension Options for 5/7 drop

Hey guys, great info on this page and that is why i'm coming for advice. I have a 67 c10 i'm looking to do a static 5"/7" lowering kit on (and a 5 lug brake kit). I know there are a bunch of kits out there, but here are the few i'm looking at.

#1. I like the CPP kit due it including the big brake upgrade. I can specify the spring rate i would need.

#2. The AZ Pro2 kit w/ different springs and a separate brake kit. It also includes the dead end c-notch, panhard, sway bar, etc.

with a 7" rear drop you will need to c notch it.
as for the brake upgrade if youre going to get it all new then the cpp might be the way to go. larger brakes wont really be necessary unless youre running a bb or stroker motor of beefed up LS. you ll probably want to add pwer steering too. now would be the time to do so.

I guess I should add that in. I am looking to LS swap it so i'd just go with the dead end c-notch. I see a bunch of horror stories about CPP so i'm a bit hesitant to order.

early classic enterprises is very good and what I used on my 67,and GMC pauls is top notch and a supporter on here

I 2nd ECE. Top notch quality and they really know these trucks. They have a superb reputation and are well regarded on this board. Take a look at their website https://www.earlyclassic.com/. They have a great 4"/6" drop kit that a lot of people use. For the rear on a 5"/7" drop, the max drop springs you can get are 6" so you'll need a 1" block to get to 7". The front is easy with drop spindles and springs. Another great addition while you're at it is front and rear sway bars.
