It is a lot of work when you start from scratch like you did. It sure is looking good though. Thank God for plasma cutters. Good luck on your build.

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN

Only table I could find show 20 to 400 gallons per minute for 4" pipe depending on friction head and pressure. I could not find a converter from gallons per minute to horse power. My non-scientific guess is "not much" or just about as much cooling capacity I am getting out of my 4" pvc ac compressor!

Well the tunnel is done. Just need new tap to make threads for the 12 bolt to hold the lower section in place.

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN

Tunnel and brake fab is done. Measure and weld the bed extensions on. Then We can mount the air ride and fuel tank. And all the lines plus brake lines.

Well we did not make it for the El Segundo show. We are still making progress. Upper shock mount is in, Rear section of frame reinstalled and tank waiting for straps.

It's been a trial to get it in, but the neat thing is the Camaro IRS comes with 14.4 disk brakes at no extra cost.

Just was reading some post I had missed while trying to make the show. Do you really need AC in Idaho? Or is that for trips? and I'm sure that 4" tube would bring in alot of air, if you stick it out the window at 60mph.
