McGaughy's 4.5/6, or a DJM 5/5 drop?

The first mod I want to do is either a McGaughy's 4.5/6 inch static drop, or a DJM 5/5 inch static drop. Anyone have any input on either of these drops? The 5/5 looks like I don't have to C-Nothch the frame, but I am expecting there wouldn't be much room for travel unless you did a C-notch here . Anyone using them, and did they ride ok? Install fairly easy?

Re: McGaughy's 4.5/6, or a DJM 5/5 drop?

I went with Western Chassis 4/6 with great results and fit. As far as DJM and McGaughy, both have great reputations. With the DJM though, you will have fitment issues with their spindles, if you are using a 15'' wheel. Something to consider.

My kit came with a c-notch. If it had not, I would not have installed one because with the factory bump stops removed, there was enough travel. The notch is nice to have though if I ever decide to put tons of weight in the bed.
