Spring perches ?

Okay, so I am going to be using a cpp rear shock mount crossmember the question is when I removed the oem crossmember it also removed what I would refer to as the upper spring perches, which I have added a picture of. Do I have to have these on there ? Or can I bolt my springs directly to the frame ? All the pictures cpp shows have the cnotch kit installed which seems to replace this piece. I dont see any issue bolting them to the frame other than it may cause abnormal wear. Thanks for any help

Re: Spring perches ?

I would use them because it is a reinforcing plate as well.
