Nova Steering wheel in a Square

So, of course there are no reproduction steering wheels, not sure why the after market market hates 73-74 stuff so much, I finally snagged a good grille at a decent price but steering wheels are always trashed. GSI wants $2500 for the steering wheel they made for syndicate series 1... I didn't even pay that much for the truck so im looking at a nova steering wheel. Im just wondering if anyone else is running one? If so what adaptor hub did you use.

Pretty sure that most GM wheels will work up to when they started including air bags. The real problem is the horn setup. Unless you get all of the horn pieces, you may have problems.

Unless you have a particular style in mind, wander through a Pull-a-Part type place, I picked up a 80's era Blazer wheel for my 75. Price including the horn bits was $5. It even has a nice Chevy bowtie on the horn button.

Considered a Pontiac wheel as the wheel part looked cool but it had a square base that just didn't match the round Chevy column. Mechanically and electrically it would have worked.

Be cautious of that wheel. A lot of them from that period start oozing sticky hard to remove stuff as the plastic or something degrades. That is the primary reason I replaced mine with the Blazer wheel. Several similar wheels in the yard had the same problem. There are several magic wheel cleaning solutions posted on these forums but none cleaned the stuff off my original wheel.
