Question on vin and spid

I figured out most of vin I think. 70 3/4 heavy long bed stepper. Has a 10 bolt rear end? Also 8 lugs axles. Is this considered a c20? Also what rear end is this and last but not least will the front clip fit a c10? Vin and spid pic included..

The sheetmetal will work fine on a C10. Sounds like you have the Eaton HO52 rear axle in that truck. Not a whole lot of options,eh?

Yes, a 70 V8 C20 - and the sheetmetal is interchangeable. Note that, per the model #, I believe your truck was born a LB fleetside - appears the long step bed has been added at some point. Here's a flip for ya.

Re: Question on vin and spid

Thanks for the help. I'm trying to see if I can pick it up for a parts truck and part out the rest but the guy thinks he has a rusted gold mine. The stuff I need is in driver shape but the cab and bed leave a lot to be desired. Didn't even realize it should be a fleetside.
