Re: 1984 C10 parting out*

What kind of shape is the right fuel tank in? I have a 85LWB with the left tank only. I have a set of brackets for the right tank and the right fill door assembly but I need the following.

Right tank.
filler neck
fuel lines to the both tanks
Switch over valve
Harness for the fuel tanks
dash switch.

Oh and I sent you a PM on the radio. I'd have you ship me the radio and I have a daughter and family in Charlotte that I'd makes arangements for the balance. Let me know

I sent you a pm back on the radio...

about the fuel tank on the pass side...basically you want everything from the fuel system except the fuel line from the carb to the switching valve, the fuel line from the switching valve to the driver's tank, and the driver's tank...am I correct in this? if so, this weekend I'm taking all the big heavy parts off and I'll get everything you want off and post some pics for you...I asked my dad and he said that both tanks held gas and both tanks worked through the switch and the fuel gauge read both tanks...so the dual tank system worked perfect...thanks man...
