Any words of advice for someone who hasn't built headers before?
I have done about 5 s10 v8 swaps even a 4x4 350 tbi 5 speed best exhaust I found to work with everything is the what some call low performance Manifold from 3 gen Camaro cleared sterring and all jus my 2 cent ur trucks looking good
Thanks!

It would be great if you could find a way to adapt the wiper kit to fit the 1955-59 pickup trucks. I am very impressed with the quality of your work.

I doubt it, he's not been on here since 11th August 2012.

Pity as I would have liked a wiper conversion

Re: It finally starts... another S10 swap...

the color is called 'almond'. It was looking too bland, so I added the dark brown accents. you can see it in my avatar. My build thread is in my signature.

Re: It finally starts... another S10 swap...

Well, after a divorce, 3 moves and a lot of monkeying around... I'm back at 'er.

She's parked in a 1500 ft2 workshop, dry and happy and getting ready to get some engine work finished in the form of a working exhaust system...

Looking to find a ram's horn for the passenger's side with an angular dump... so if anyone knows or has one, please, PM ME!

Much appreciated!
Ted.

Jeff:
I hear ya buddy. I've dealt with melanoma in the past and looks like I may be doing it again.

Having fought with manifolds and other idea, my roommate just said "Why are you bothering to f**k around? Just machine the damn flanges and make your own set... you've already bought the mandrel bent tubing!"

Well... I guess he had a valid point... and they're almost machined now...
