i wouldn't believe longhorn al about beautiful women in t-sip land anyway... I've visited once and there are way too many "blue-haired" "peiced-out" liberals there for anyones taste...
Come to the Real University in Texas at College Station... Nice, conservative, and outnumber men like you wouldn't believe...

Oh and the trucks are nicer in Aggieland too.
Gig'em.

LOL, gimme a break. College Station is an armpit of a town. I mean, if you like living in a never ending episode of the Dukes of Hazard, and the best place to hang out is a Dixie Chicken, go right ahead.

I don't know why anyone would want to go to some college where they don't allow GIRL CHEERLEADERS!!! That's just weird. And the Corp turds are just insane.

I like what y'all say, "From the outside, nobody would understand." Thank God, I don't want to understand anything about that town or college.

Oh yeah, and it's THE University of Texas at Austin. What's with all the "Fightin' Texas Aggie" stuff? Y'all are Texas A&M. Be proud of that, for what it's worth. Don't show any penis envy by putting 'TEXAS' across your shirts and jerseys. If you wanted that, you should have attended the real TEXAS!

p.s. - This is all in good fun. But, if we weren't on a board where we have something in common, I would mean everything I said.

I was born and raised in AZ. Only lived 11 months out of it. I don't even like to leave it's borders (especially the west border - no offense CA guys). I know what I can get away with here! Other states have some screwy laws. NM is ok, now that scarface isn't patroling. UT is tolerable, but they got screwy gun laws. CA has a law against everything.

Nevada may be OK. Never been there, but it seems like EVERYTHING (except maybe killing people) is legal...

ckhd...

Hehe, first, check out www.theonion.com - apparently, Nevada is going to an official state of lawlessness.

Second, I agree on CA. I can vacation there but little else. Before I was born, my dad worked for Chevron and they had him move out there for a little while...before they'd even moved in, the CA cops started effin' with 'em!!! Did you know you can't drive a Uhaul in the left lane??? He found out the hard way...and then the cop had the balls to walk back to my mom (who was probably driving my truck! hehe) and tell her she was following him too closely?!?

One week there and then I'm itching to leave. Sometimes less, depending on where I am. Stupid, stupid state; everything costs too much, too much traffic, too many people.

I love Arizona. =)

Yah, Trucks must stay in right lane AND their speed limit is 55! Same if you are towing. Even an empty trailer! That's why it takes so long to get to Pomona! Back here, tow at 75!

I towed a dolly from LA to AZ once. I was doin 75-80 the whole time out the 10. I only slowed down when that empty dolly was hoppin. Ill agree though, Ive lived here all my life, and there are way too many people. But I cant make the same wage elsewhere either.

I'm with ya, Project1970.

I got my '68 from CA (unrunning so I had to tow it). Took a trailer out.

Fortunately, I'm paranoid of CA and did a couple hours of research of their laws on the Internet. I did find out that I had to stay right, and all that. Other than the mind-numbing 55mph from LA to AZ on I-10, it wasn't too bad of a trip. It was really nice to cross the Colorado river and be able to kick it up to 75.

you're right about one thing, at least we have the love for these trucks in common... or else it would surely be throw down time. In fact I'm surprised your HOSS isn't painted Baby Bevo barf Orange yet, or are those plans for the near future?

Excuse me, but Longhorns are not the ones who buy their vehicles based on color. About 90% of the time, if you see a maroon car or truck in Texas, it'll have an A&M sticker on it.

And it's not officially "Burnt Orange". It's actually named "Texas Orange".

What kind of self respecting Texan would attatch his name to anything "liberal"? I mean, what is a "Liberal Arts Degree" anyway?
Besides, we all know that the only thing a Texas grad has to say to an Aggie is: "You want fries with that?"

I just dug up this old post lookin' for people from Gilbert (AZ). I used to live in College Station, even went to A&M for a few semesters. Dated a girl that was a T-Sipper (shhh... don't tell!) and had a great time in both College Station and Austin. Austin was more my speed, but C.S. people (AG's especially) are some of the nicest on the planet! Moved out to Tempe, and then to Gilbert. I love it here, but I still feel like I'm at home anywhere I go in Texas! BTW, if you like silicone (o)(o) go to Scottsdale!!
