How was the install on the ORD frame Brace? Think I will make that upgrade also. Might as well why I have everything apart.

Re: 4 inch lift install question

I’ve got the weld in kit on my K20. It takes a little bit of modifying since it’s for a 73-87 but really it didn’t take much at all. There’s a picture of the Install on Page 6 in the link in my signature. I’d do it again in a heartbeat. I also plan to add the bolt on brace a little later on.
Here’s the one I have.

I think that will be the next thing I do. Specially with the lift and tires that are about to be on it. I might reach out to you in the future. Thank you.

Re: 4 inch lift install question

I did the bolt in deal. It wasn't too bad it just took a bit of 'fitting'. A lot of in and out to get it just right. Also the hardware it came with wasn't right. Took me a few trips to the hardware store to get washers for spacers and longer bolts to get everything totally san-o.

I found another member on the board that I copied from check out this thread

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...rd+frame+brace

4 posts down, I did what swclassic did, little bit extra work but came out clean and keeps the brace in total alignment so you don't torque your frame when tightening down the ps box.

I'm still waiting on getting the correct new pre-bent lines from inlinetube, that's been a nightmare or I'd be back together already...
