Thanks!! Pretty excited about having more time for the seats. I just took a frame and tracks out to the shed. I have a lot of sandblasting to get done, to get caught back up. But it will have to wait until then.

Congratulations on the pending retirement! Thirty years for one employer is almost unheard of these days. It's a great idea to see some of the surrounding countryside and fund it by working on your hobby.

Thanks!! I also hope to bring home more seats that need restored, while we are on these trips also. What I really need to do, is find me an enclosed trailer. The newly restored seat can travel in the back of the Colorado, it has a cap. My trailer is just an open trailer, but it would nice to be able to keep the seats out of the rain and away from thieves.

How far would you be willing to travel to deliver one?

Just the surrounding or bordering states of Ohio. As I said in the above post, I would be willing to meet part way, not necessarily deliver. And there would still be a fee involved, but it won't be as much as Fedex charges.

Re: Bench Seats, Having them Reupholstered

Did my own Black Friday shopping. Went to Kentucky and got 2 seats for restoration, and a few other parts. I also found a super nice set Charcoal seatbelts for my truck, too bad everything else on the interior was gone, including the seat!! They just got this truck in a few days ago!! The outside of the truck looked rough, but the interior was obviously clean!!
It was so nice, sunny and 55!!

That is the best kind of Black Friday shopping.

It was!! No crowds, it was quiet and a nice sunny day. We did go to our local Best Buy for a few things, it was early evening. I don't know why people want to get into that big crowd, thats no fun. Best Buy still had PLENTY of all the Black Friday items. I wanted to get a backup camera for my Colorado, it has a cap, so when it's packed with seats I can't even see thru to the back. It is hard not being able to see when I'm backing up out of somewhere.
I work at Honda, so I have really gotten spoiled with all the SUV's having backup cameras.

Did the C10 3 point seat belts ever come in black or is charcoal the closest thing to it?

The Charcoal is the closest to it. The Charcoal is pretty much black, in my opinion. So they can be used in a black or charcoal truck.

Re: Bench Seats, Having them Reupholstered

This seat is for a Suburban, so it is a non-tilt Seat. Didn’t even have time to put it completely together, because it sold right away.

It also got new foam. And it has the correct Suburban tracks, they are very similar to to 81-87 tracks.
