Donor truck to the scrap yard....I had never been before

I took this 1989 to the scrap yard yetserday. I used most of the running gear, harness in my 72 Suburban and the wheels and tires on another project. I had been putting scrap metal in the back of it for about a year. This was my first time taking something to a recycle center. $362.00 WOW.

Re: Donor truck to the scrap yard....I had never been before

Steel is pretty expensive right now. A lot of our scrap is making it's way to China right now. Our plant manager was talking about this last Friday in our quarterly meeting. China is industrializing, and is eating up a lot of our steel, and they are paying top dollar for it, so the scrap steel is bringing pretty good money right now. ...Joe
