72 grill repair
Has anyone used Plastex ( https://www.plastex.net/index.php ) to repair broken pieces of the grill? I see the grill is commonly broken near the hood release. Rather than buying a new grill I thought maybe it could be repaired using that stuff.
Any input would be appreciated. |

Re: 72 grill repair
I've used this with good results.
http://www.loctiteproducts.com/p/epx...tic-Bonder.htm. Just tape up the front and fill the back. Helps if it is not on truck. The urethane adhesives are not that good.

Re: 72 grill repair
I used JB weld, it was cracked, cleaned and applied. Used paint stir stick with sand paper to clean it up after it dried...then painted.
