New to the board.

Hey all. I have been checking out this forum for a while now and finally decided to join. I have an 86 short bed I am going to start workin on hopefully this winter. My truck is very clean, straight and rust free, I bought it off the original owner who took very good care of it. I’ve had it for three years now and am ready to start playing. I’m going to get started on the engine. I am looking to LS it and I am still in the research stage. There seems to be a wealth of information on this board and I look forward to hearing from you all and may lean on you from time to time for information and suggestions. Sorry about the bottom picture I don’t know why it’s upside down.

Ronnie

Re: New to the board.

Great looking truck - I'm also doing an LS swap and have gathered up quite a bit of info. Feel free to reach out with questions - happy to brainstorm. This forum has a ton of good info on basically anything you need or want to do - welcome!

Re: New to the board.

Wow, great truck. One of the cleanest I've seen. I'd be tempted to do invisible mods to the existing engine and keep it all original-looking. Wanting to do an LS swap is a great excuse to buy another truck that needs a drivetrain, ha. But don't let me be a bad influence. Welcome aboard!
