Looking for paint code - Hugger Orange - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I want to get some paint, and need the code for (1971) Hugger Orange.

Anyone know the code? Also, what type/brand would be best to match the original paint (adding new doors and TG, want them to look somewhat close in color).

i doubt a stock color will match the faded orange from 35years ago// your best bet would be to go to the paint shop and see if they can match it with the laser wand thing

True, but hypothetically, if I were to rub out the paint and get it to its original hue, what code, type, and brand would match the original??

Try this..got it off a camaro site: HUGGER ORANGE Ditzler # 2084----Dupont 5021LM and R-M A-2111R Code 72.
