I have tried contacting Tom (12bolt) called, emailed, texted, voicemail... haven’t knocked on his door yet lol but haven’t gotten any response back. Was trying to buy the blueprint HEI he offers

Re: Rockauto HEI
I have had good luck with MSD Streetfire
I have a buddy that has been rockin' a Duralast HEI for 5 years, trouble free. Neither one was exactly plug-n-play though, both required tuning. advance limiting, spring swaps and vac-adv adjustments. Unfortunately, you probably aren't going t o pull a dizzy out of a box that is perfectly set up for your particular application.

Re: Rockauto HEI
Attachment 2057651Thank You all for the feedback. I’m keeping the motor stock and not looking to do any tuning. I decided on the Cardone NEW HEI. They have a lifetime warranty and from what I can find i think it’s built in the USA. I also purchased an autoline 292 carb...not sure what difference it will have if any on the 250. But figured i would give it a try. I’m planning on replacing all my gaskets starting with the valve cover which I removed this past weekend and is currently curing with the gasket. Next up will be the intake manifold and exhaust manifold gaskets.
