Eagle Ventures, Hickey, Autofab Hoods

I Just picked up a 71K5 from the original owner, and it had this hood.

Upon further inspection it was found that it is not any of the above manufactures????

Anyone know of anyone else that may have been making these in the Mid 80's?

USBody used to make them. Not anymore. It could be. I thought maybe a fiberglass repair covered the Eagle ventures logo. I led love to have it

I have NEVER seen any post or mention of another maker....I too thought maybe USBody but did not find any old or new info on them making one. I have a call into them, awaiting a response.....

This hood has NO metal under or inner core, and has 1" square threaded inserts cast into the fiberglass for hinges and striker.

Honestly, this one could be an autofab hood.

Both that I have seen have square nuts cast into the fiberglass, factory hinges will work but a light-duty spring is needed.

Re: Eagle Ventures, Hickey, Autofab Hoods

Dang where are you finding these awesome hoods? I thought about getting auto fab but I don't want to use hood pins. I only know of Eagle Ventures and the history with that and Hickey and Auto Fab
