Yes Canadian Truck. Although the pink color was a 1971 mid-year option on the GMC's. It wasn't available on Chevys although over the years I've had some folks swore their uncle, second cousin or Mother-in Law had a factory painted pink/white Chevy but untill I see a spid with the correct codes on it to me they don't exist. Pictured is an original pink white that was restored over 4/5 yearsstarting in 2000 after the present owner bought it from the elderly origianl owner.

I don't recall, it's been so long ago. I think I was probably looking for parts and came across a link or something. Been hooked since!

Re: Lets review - How did you come across this site?

I was looking around for truck stuff when I bought my 1969 short step and found a few sites. This one turned out to be the best and so I've stayed for almost 20 years now.

Re: Lets review - How did you come across this site?

Kept doing Google searches for information on questions I had and this site kept coming up. Every time I read the information on the site it answered my question and them some. So this is my go to site for information.

Re: Lets review - How did you come across this site?

In 2000 I had gotten my first 67-72 (a ‘72 GMC C2500) and remember looking for the best forum for info on these pickups. When I found this site it was obvious this was the biggest/best place for 67-72s. Google was still in diapers and I probably used Lycos, AltaVista, or HotBot to find it.

Today even when I’m searching for answers to questions about GM models that aren’t 67-72s, Google sends me to this site very often. Keep up the good work, Josh & co.

Re: Lets review - How did you come across this site?

As others have said, when searching for anything 67-72 related this site comes up and is no doubt the encyclopedia of these trucks.

I find it interesting that even in 2021, this forum is so popular even with the other social media outlets as competition. I don’t think other forums have been so lucky and perhaps have become obsolete to a lot of people.

I have always valued the decency and respect of members on this forum. I frequent Facebook for parts hunting but am often turned off by the lack of class by some people on those groups and pages.

I think this forum has proved it is timeless and here to stay.

It's a well-managed site with a tough but fair code of conduct. I like that people genuinely want to help each other with their questions.

Re: Lets review - How did you come across this site?

Shortly after getting my truck in May 2019 I was surfing the web with questions on a few things and this site popped up very often. Did some reading and quickly made the conclusion this site had the most knowledge and might be foolhardy enough to let me join.

I've loved these trucks since my teenage years. Ignorantly parted ways with my 70 CST right after college and have wanted another one since.

Re: Lets review - How did you come across this site?

Google searched for 67-72 truck forums and found that this one had the least (near absent) drama factor. Not to mention the excess of good info.
