The nose on the studebaker is on the rear of the car. Front windscreen was two piece in 50 and one in 51 . Rear was 4 piece.

I was reading what you wrote and had no idea what the heck you were talking about. And then I looked at the pictures ... Ohhhhhh, I get it.

I really liked the Studebaker Starlight coups when I was a kid, and then they got popular with the Street Rodders and you saw them all the time. Took the cool factor out of them for me.

Ya they grafted the nose to the rear of the car . Bet the other side is the rear of another bullet nose, makes sense much more window area for sunlight or moonlight.

We used to have whole families go cruising on their mopeds by the place. Good clean cut country folk who found a way to gather and enjoy life... for pennies per mile. You'd hear the buzzin' before seeing them. One day, my friend who would stop by on his bike (Harley) rides had seen them go by before. He says, "Uh oh. Here comes the Mild Bunch".
