Exclamation WTT: Carpet Strip for 15x6 6-lug disk brake rim

Hi guys...it took me a while to put together 5 rims...and turns out one of them is not going to work, and one of them could be better. Everything is at the powder coater so I'd like to make something happen ASAP which is why I'm offering a trade of this very nice carpet strip. Would entertain other scenarios if you don't need the strip.

I would like 2 (need 1) 15x6 6 lug 4 nub disk brake oem rims. Here is a pic of the carpet strip:

That looks right. It should be stamped 15X6. Do you know what it came off of? I do really want to get two rims for the strip if I could. We'll have to see what shipping is to make the swap fair. I'm at 30677. If you've got two and they don't seem to be bent, cracked or have a big ding...I'm in.

That one looks good. I do want to get two for the strip if I can. If Gary and I can't put a deal together, you're next. Thanks.

Are the sizes stamped on the inside of the rims. I do have 2 but it will cost a lot to ship to rimes. not sure what year it came off of.

I think the last group I got we were able to get two in one box which helped. There may be some differences, but the ones I've got are stamped near the valve stem. PM on the way.

Heres the stamping on mine. Its not by the valve stem though. There are some stampings by the stem though. Lmk

Re: WTT: Carpet Strip for 15x6 6-lug disk brake rim

I think all three of those are probably right. I wouldn't be worried about it at all, but the reason I need one is the one I had to cull had a different backspacing. It was off a later model Blazer or Suburban...it was stamped 15x6, 6 lug, 4 nub, silver but the backspacing was 1/4" different than my white ones. 3 of which are identical with 15x6 stamped near the valve stem, the other stamped on the lip. (see pics). I got the silver one from board member Special-K (Tim) and he was just as surprised as me at the backspacing anomaly.

Re: WTT: Carpet Strip for 15x6 6-lug disk brake rim

Gary you were first and you have two. I am willing to swap with you straight up (I'll pay for shipping of rims, you pay for shipping of carpet strip)...but first I need to confirm they're 15X6, I'd like to see a full shot of both to check for dings, and I'd like to get a shipping quote (that may be prohibitive just because of geography). I'd honestly like to be able to get things in the mail by Friday. If that's too much of a hassle, I understand. I just didn't realize I needed a new rim until I was AT the powder coater and he's holding my entire job (not just the rims) until it's all there. I'm taking the frame tomorrow (which should have been the last thing), so the rims will be the limiting factor. LMK asap.

Gary, you can see the difference in the backspace here. Also, notice the lug holes, one set is raised/beveled and one is basically flat. All the ones I have and feel to be correct have this raised area.

The one that I believe is correct is the left(and bottom) one. It is 3-5/16" from outside rim to mount and has raised lug holes. You can also note the slight width and profile difference of the two.

The first one is the right one back spacing is 3 5/16 it is the one with the valve stem still in it.

The one I believe is correct is the second pic in the first post and the bottom one in the second post. It should measure just over 3.25" from outside of rim to mount.
