Light socket

Does anyone know where I can get the light socket with the wire connector for my heater control face plate?

I have the non A/C style. with the lighted area to the left of the three slide arms for the defrost / air-fan / heater.

I haven't seen it any where so far.

65 and older Chevrolets use the type of socket on the dash. If you cannot locate any in your area, let me know and I will pick one up for you. You would then wire it into the gray wire that feeds the dash lights.

I needed one also and could not find one from all the venders I checked, so I went to the wreckers and found one there. Also another hard one to find is the side marker pig tails, later Doug

Re: Light socket

I don't recall the hole size, but if it's 5/8" this may work.
