WTB: Dana 44 73-up front

I'm looking to put a Dana 44front axle in place of my 10 bolt so I will have more options to beef them up as opposed to my 10 bolt corporate. I need one fairly close to Winston-Salem NC so I can come pick it up. Will trade my 10 bolt or just pay you cash for it. Hubs or not hubs is fine, also don't need brakes, I can take the brakes off my 10 bolt (assuming it will all work?) No welded or spooled rear ends. Also would like one that doesn't have to have new bearings and all that installed, unless of course the price is right i'm willing to take one that needs rebuilt (I will be putting new gears in anyway).

Thanks and you can email me at chad@martiansales.com or you can pm me or reply here!

Hey,
I got a D-44 from a 75 K-10 truck, unknown ratio, all there but deffinetly needs to be rebuilt. Was working when pulled though. Got it and matching 12 bolt from same truck. Not sure what it's worth, I'm a trading fella myself also, so if you got anything to trade on let me know, I live in Conover, NC about 50 miles from Charlotte. Let me know please. Thanks

So it just needs stuff like bearings and maybe gears and such? I'll be putting 4.56 gears in it anyhow so thats not a big deal. What kind of stuff are you looking for? I don't have a lot of stuff worth trading really.

I'v got a chrome grill/bumper guard with a little rust but could be cleaned up. Also have a holley carb that needs rebuilt with vacuum secondaries and manual choke. Also have a th350c tranny that needs a rebuilt. Also have a good 10 bolt missing a spindle and outer on one side, but other than that good shape with 3.08 gears.

I have a dana 44 from a 75 complete good working order $100.00 and the 12 bolt that matches $150.00 for both. Baltimore md just bolt them in and go I think they have 4:10 so you sound be ok without gear swap

Does that 12 bolt have an open carrier? I don't care if the gears match my rear now or not. But need a 12 bolt with open carrier to put in my truck or if like you said those have 4:10 gears then I may just swap the axle out instead.

I'm gonna try and find an axle somewhere close because I really don't want to drive to Ohio to get some axles. I could probably pickup some from a local junkyard.
