Rims or hub caps?

I know I know. It's your truck. "Do what you want." "No one else's opinion matters". Honestly just want to know for the fun of it. I plan on posting everyone's vote to my friends on Facebook. Sorry about the sideways pic. I tried several times and couldn't get it turned.

Re: Rims or hub caps?

Hmm, well ... no on those rims. Caps yes, but the stock caps would look a little nicer in my eyes.

Generally I'm a rims guy all the way, but I gotta say those hub caps on that build looks pretty sweet.

Re: Rims or hub caps?

I'll be going with original or 1973 style hub caps and sometimes wheel covers. I plan to restore or have restored the various sets I have bought over the years.

Or full wheel covers with white walls. It's nice to have multiple options.

Re: Rims or hub caps?

Caps, but not those. The black looks like crap. No other black on the truck, plus S10 caps are boring. I know the "correct" ones are hard to find and expensive, but you can run any Chevy car hubcap that uses nubs, except ones made for 13" wheels like Corvair. Even the 76-91 1/2t caps would be a huge improvement.

Compared to those wheels, without a doubt the caps. As others have mentioned, it would be even sweeter if you could find the correct caps.

Re: Rims or hub caps?

Of the two options, caps for sure. Out of all the cap options, I'd probably run the originals or the Chevrolet base model car hubcaps, often mistakenly called poverty caps.
