Pics of Stock looking "SS" stripes on cowl hoods
Anyone have any pics of some SS stripes like what the factory would have done in the late '60s/early '70s? Looking to paint my cowl hood with the 1/4" outline stripe around the big stripes. Not sure if the stripes should stay on the flat of the hood up front or go over the edge about 3/4" then round off.

Here's om way of doing it:
  I thought it would have been better to stop at the edge of the hood,or maybe just 2" down,but this turned out nice.

That is exactly what I was thinking & it looks good on that early hood. Not sure it will looks the same on my '72 though with the steep front.
