Freebies - you pay the ride

NOTE: Read full description! Items aren't perfect! Only offering to people in the lower 48!

I have these brand new heated power mirrors I bought for my dad's 2003 Sierra a few years back, BUT as you can see, One arrived damaged, the circle of tabs holding the heated mirror on are brittle and (in my opinion) cheap, maybe defective for the passenger side mirror. The housings are PERFECT though! Mirrors are technically good also, minus the crappy tabs.

Amazon refunded my money, told me to keep them. A few weeks later, they pulled the product entirely from their store, so I suspect others complained. Anyway, I tried selling locally but nobody seems interested, not even for $20. So I'd rather hook a fellow forum member up who really needs housings, not necessarily the actual mirrors, but maybe you could make both work.

If you're anywhere in GA, I'm around ATL and will meet you anywhere within 15-20 miles of the capitol building - I can budge a little on mileage, just trying to set some guidelines.

If you're not nearby you'll need to pay shipping. Should be less than $25, I think.

Either way, I recommend you call dibs in a reply here, then drop me a PM.

Mods, I didn't see a section for 'free stuff' and didn't want to spam this in the General forum, so if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it.

Re: Freebies - you pay the ride

Looks like the problem is the tabs on the glass not with the mirrors themselves. You can probably get a decent quality mirror and have decently serviceable mirrors.

Looks like they have puddle lamps but no turnsignal chevrons in the glass.

Are these power folding or just power glass?
My mirrors are working just fine. These should go to someone that can use em.

Yup. It's just the back side of the glass that's borked. There is probably a way to make the heated glass panel here work, but replacement could be a cheap alternative too.

Puddle lamps yes. Normally integrated blinkers would have circles on the glass, I don't see them.

Manual folding. Power glass. Heated.

Spread the word! Someone out there has to need these for something. I mean, I realize 15yo trucks probably are doing fine with their stock mirrors at that age but ...
