1971 chevy C10 short box
i am just starting my rebuild of my 71 C10. Right now it has a
blown 350 but plan on up grading to a blown 383. its got a turbo 700 tran 3.55 posi rear end short box fleet side plan on lowering 2" in front and 4" in rear plan on putting cowl hood not to sure about the grille? stock or billet? any idea's same with the paint leave it a two tone or make it one colour? if you got any ideas on colour combo if i keep the two tone put it down and if i go single colour im thinking of that copper orange like off of trucks. going to put new dual pipes heaers back and might put in the pipe cut off where it comes straight out of the headers with a flip of a switch. any other ideas im open. |

Re: 1971 chevy C10 short box
Sounds like some good plans! First post up some pictures so we can see the present state and that might help out a little with suggestions. About the grille, I would go stock because I have a billet on my 71 and while its cool and all I think the stock grille just looks more at home on these trucks. I'm curious to see the two tone paint because I think I'm leaning toward a factory orange/white two tone when I re-paint my truck.
