DOIN THE C50 Conversion

ok yall i decided im taking on the challenge of droping a 71 chevy c50 front clip on my 70 c10 i know whats ahead already have the doors on and the cowl panel ill have more pics after i have the clip home and i already have the c10 clip off the stupid pics wouldnt upload

Thanks guys actually im going even farther then what these guys have done im using the c10 frame and all and putting the front clip on it i plan to do an axle swap but ilm goin to chop the bottom of the fenders 3" or so so i have ground clearance i have everything set up and ready to go tommara im headin to my grandparents to pick up the front clip and the dash ill keep yall posted and id also like to note im still 16 and i pretty sure im the only one my age ever doin this kinda build but i could be wrong anyway LETS GIT R DUN

I am glad to see someone is trying this. A year or two ago I suggested using the C50 or 60 front end on a C10. Drew no interest. The large wheel openings are perfect for large diameter bling if you like that sort of thing.

im lookin at either super singles or mud tires if i go with a 4x4 conversion

Man that box truck looks just like one I saw a few years ago in Poth, TX. It was parked near an old antique shop behind a barn. Looks like a cool project!

its a 68 and Todays mission was unsuccessful all i got was the hood and the front bezels an a few misc things i need a lil more help next weekend when i go back i couldnt do it my self tomany confined spaces and rusted bolts so i soaked them good before i left ill update again saturday

Ok guys i have ran into a huge problem i didnt think it completely threw turns out the c10 front is almost 1 foot longer then ther c50 so i have 2 options continue with the build and cut up and extend the c50 front end orgo back to the 69 front end i had i need advice an keep in mind im only 16 and have mild fabrication skils

BACK IN BIDNESS! turns out i was wrong the prodject goes on my friends im headin to the Decatur swap meet this weekend so ill have pics of progress late saturday early sunday
