Anyone wanting a 59 Panel? not mine

Bopping though Craigslist a minute ago this showed up. Running down the parts list it sounds like the deal of the week if sitting in front of his shop didn't cause hidden rust over that time period. Due to the location you would want to go over it real close but the price is real interesting.

My ongoing truck projects:
48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

I thought he had sold it years ago. I first saw it when it was in front of his business, and then later saw an ad for it for sale. I was interested, but the ad went down after a week. You can see it in the street view on Google earth! https://www.google.com/maps/@48.5125...7i13312!8i6656

At least it doesn't have a Corvette engine.

To me it just looks like a decent driver quality truck that a guy can take to cruise night (or put in the Portland Roadster show after seeing some of the junk that was in it) for a price that is probably not much more than the cost of the list of parts in it. Besides it isn't hard to talk your wife into taking a road trip to Anacortes if you allow for a day or two of looking around. The tulips will be blooming in that area in a couple of weeks and that is worth a road trip in it's self.

Although I agree, it has not been that easy to convince my wife that a trip to the Pacific Northwest is in our best interest. Heck, I even have family in WA and OR that we could visit to save $$ in food and lodging. I don't understand why she's reluctant. I don't think it's because she's heard me talking about getting a 5 car carrier to head out with....

That would be a serious trip with a car hauler. But this one is here in town where I live https://yakima.craigslist.org/cto/d/...528306819.html
