Re: Camaro Caliper Brackets

No worries, you're not hijacking.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner on the brake offset.....I just plain forgot last night. Anyway, the brake offset on a truck 12 bolt is 2-1/2". I measured a 5 lug 12 bolt, and it was 2-1/2". I measured a '67 6 lug 12 bolt and it was 2-5/8" on one side, but I couldn't measure the other side yet. Then I measured a 9" that I narrowed, and set up for the truck brakes, and it is at 2-1/2" also. I think that possibly the 2.42" that Moser shows on their site might be the location on the axle itself. With the pressed on bearings, the bearing sits about 1/16" (.062") outside of the housing end. This would make the brake offset right close to 2-1/2"

Here are the housing ends that I have used that I was referring to.

Re: Camaro Caliper Brackets

The 5x5" Impala SS rotors won't work on a 6x5.5" application. The ones you need are here....
