Re: Sweatember
We've had a nice cool spell here in middle GA for a bit. I'm expecting the heat to return soon though

Re: Sweatember
We've a cooler than usual August and September, but it was 82º at 5:30 this morning, and it's 102º right now. But at least it's a dry heat.

Re: Sweatember
Here in lower Delaware, it's just about sub-tropical Easter to Thanksgiving, right now it's 67°, and that's the temps I like, shoot, my blazer top has not been off since the four years living here and I hate it. Back on long island ny, it was off April till first road salt application. Here in DELAWARE... Simple can paint spraying is a chore when a breeze can blow up humidity, i lived less than a mile from the salt water in ny, completely different humidity, 1-3 days then gone, here is just crazy, lasts for weeks and weeks. It is cooler than last year though, maybe this Ex New Yorker will see snow again this year

Re: Sweatember
Our September was very autumn-like. Not the Indian Summer we usually get. It seemed like right about Labor Day it went from mid-80s/90 to 70s all at once. I took the a/c out of the window and only used a fan a time or two. Cool damp evenings-mornings yielding to generally low humidity, blue skies, and very little rain. Fall is about the best season here and we have been having a good one. It got into the 80s this week but back to cooler in the '70s after those couple days. Looking at 60s getting into the next week. I'm enjoying every minute of it

Re: Sweatember
I'll have to say this is the NICEST September/October (14 day forecast looks fantastic) in the upstate of SC I can recall in quite a while. 70s/80s, cool at night, some days were pretty humid, but compared to the 95*+ we got through the end of September last year, this is great. Normal amount of rain, nothing crazy. Even the heavy hurricane rains they predicted pretty much missed us.

Re: Sweatember
Yeah, this year is a bit better. Humidity here has dropped down some, but 80's (low for a change) is still un-yankee like.

Re: Sweatember
Beautiful here too..Leaves are changing colors fast. The foliage season is going to be a short one due to the nearly 12" rain deficit.

Re: Sweatember
This is the time of year when we get big temp swings. High 30’s-low 40’s at night to 80-90 during the day. I’ll probably pull the swamp coolers for the year on Friday.

Re: Sweatember
Not quite that bad here, but it's totally common to have the heat on at night/morning and A/C in the afternoon.
