This just sold on ebay for $104.49. WOW!!! I have 3 or four in my stash. This is nuts. At least I think it's nuts.

I realize this supply is about exhausted from Chevy dealerships but $104.49. Am I out of touch?

It will be whatever the market brings. If someone will pay it, then that is what it's worth. I personally would never pay that, unless you are talking about an UBER insane all original / never touched / low mile ...... etc. that just needed that light housing.

for some reason NOS stuff has been going up the last couple months, actaully alot of these years parts are. I seen OEM cheynenne super glove box doors are bringing $180

If someone is willing to pay $104 it doesn't mean it's worth that much...it means it's worth that much to that individual. JMHO

Those are not just 67-72. They go all the way to 87 and the reproductions that I have seen are just junk. Probably why it went so high. WES

And as W3lfd said the buyer may have just needed it to finish a "to showroom perfect" restoration. And most of us have hunted and hunted for one specific part and paid way more than we wanted to when we found it just because we were tired of hunting at one time or another. It might be an original oem part in the original box or it might be a rare and limited production vintage speed part that we just had to have to get a project just the way we want it.

Well said brother. I have $1400 invested in a hood and both, left and right fenders. All NOS of course. That's not counting the shipping of $400 to get it all to me from all three seperate sellers.

This is another good reason to belong to this forum...I bet you a pound of potatoes that if he was a member of this fourm he could have found one for a lot less than $104.

I paid $400 for pair a nos inner fender wells , money well spent , i've had enough of the repro junk. speaking of a repo tag light had to silicone in the wire to the back of mine, i hope it's still there

Not all Repops are junk and it is my understanding that some repops are as good if not better than NOS.

NOS is fine if thats what one wants and one wants all NOS parts on their truck...I am pointing out that many NOS parts can be found cheaper here than ebay such as that "Truck License Plate Lamp."

I have two or three somewhere in my garage and when I sell I am not going to ask $100. Ask WES...I made him a deal for one he couldn't refuse.

A good example are the NOS Hubcaps on ebay right now...those are rare, hard to find, and very desirable and if thats what one needs to finish up their truck then they will go for higher $$$.
